Padma: please pack your knives and go!
Shame, shame, shame on you Food & Wine (Food & Wine Mag, May 2008, pg. 104)! The over-crowded chefutante culture needs to be culled, not catered to. Padma Lakshmi is, admittedly, only one of the worst of a particularly bad crop (A cookbook? Really?); however, it is a mistake to venerate someone whose sole culinary "talent" is orgasmic facial expressions. Gail, I know this is your show, but everyone knows that her job should be yours: don't assist your usurper! Thank you.
